Here, we address some frequently asked questions to provide you with essential information about our clinic and services. This FAQ is not exhaustive and does not replace consultation with a healthcare or legal professional. How do I schedule an appointment?
To schedule an appointment with us, please fill out the intake form here. Also make sure to email the front and back of your insurance card, if applicable, to winchesterpsychiatrist@gmail.com. Once one of our providers has reviewed the intake form, one of our receptionists will be in touch over the phone or email to schedule your first appointment!
Do you accept insurance for your services?
Yes, we accept some of the most common insurers: Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and Medicare. Please contact our team to discuss coverage options if needed.
Where are you located? What are your hours?
Our office is located on 1812 Plaza Drive, Winchester, VA, 22601. Our hours are generally Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Individual provider hours may vary. You can reach us through phone or email within these hours. After hours, we are available at (703) 606-1133 for psychiatric emergencies only.
What is your Cancellation/No-Show Policy?
All appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment to avoid cancellation fees. Appointments cancelled less than 48 hours in advance of the appointment, as well as no-shows, will incur a cancellation fee of $100.
Do you offer telehealth or in-person visit options?
Yes, we offer both!
How soon can I be seen once I submit the intake form?
Most new patients are able to schedule an appointment within one to two weeks of intake form submission.
How much would the appointments cost if I pay out of pocket?
The new patient appointment fee is $300 for the first appointment, followed by $160 for follow-ups.
If your insurer is not among our list of accepted insurances, then you can submit a receipt for this out-of-pocket cost to your insurer for reimbursement.
Do you take HSA and Flex Cards?
Yes, we accept HSA and Flex Cards.
